10 Minute Standing Stretch Routine // Stretching Exercises for Seniors & Beginners

Here’s another video that I liked and wanted to share. The focus is on stretching exercises for seniors & beginners. Like many of the yoga for seniors examples, a chair is used for support.

The title also mentions beginners. If you are not a senior yet but it’s been a while since you have incorporated stretching into your exercise routine, I could see how this might be beneficial.

What I like about this video is that you could do these stretches every day if you choose to.

I have been trying to make the effort to stretch before exercise to help alleviate the lower back pain that I experience. It doesn’t take the pain away but it helps to loosen and strengthen the lower back muscles. Over time, I believe it will benefit me but I also know that I have to continue the stretching as part of my daily routine.

Maybe you’re someone who exercises regularly but you’ve gotten away from stretching. Or perhaps you are just looking for some new stretching techniques to add to your existing stretch routines. This video may show you some new routines that interest you.

The content creator for this video has made several that focus on exercise routines for seniors. Going forward, if I find interesting ones, I’ll share in a blog.
