As the title indicates, this is a 15 Minute Standing ABS and ARMS exercise routine. It is performed from a standing position and with weights. The demonstrator is using 10 pound dumbbells but feel free to use whatever weight you are comfortable with. There are a series of exercises demonstrated all from a standing position. Most of the exercises are done with lifting or curling the weights in conjunction with leg lifts. In some examples, you would curl the dumbbell with your right arm while lifting your left leg to balance the motion then the same exercise curling with the left arm and lifting the right leg. Every exercise in the video is designed to strengthen both the ABS & ARMS.
Like other fitness videos that I’ve written about, I like this one because it’s only about 15 minutes long but you get quite the workout in that short period of time. I noticed that a couple of hours after I do the exercises, I really feel it in my ABS.
For me, this is just one component of an overall exercise plan. If done correctly, this exercise series helps to build a strong core which is vital to an overall exercise plan.
